When all pitchers have checked in and are warmed up and before play begins, there are several announcements the TD must make:
a) whether "cancellation" or "count-all" scoring will be used,
b) whether games will end when a certain score limit is reached or when a certain shoe count limit is pitched,
c) what the plan is for a tie for each class (play-off for all classes or only Class A, highest ringer pct for the day, etc.),
d) who the tournament judge is, and
e) any 'housekeeping' announcements.
Recite The Pledge of Allegiance (if a US flag is nearby).
